Fundraising Tips

Paint-A-Thon is about the community coming together to paint for a cause. Entry fee is $25 per participant and each team is asked to commit to fundraising a minimum of $400 (or $200 for student teams).

Fundraising Resources

• Are you trying to convey your family and friends to sponsor you? Let them know you are doing this great event and let them learn more about the project. Download the outreach package here.

• Once you have registered, you will have a pledging form available to download. Credit card payments are available for those who prefer paying through online and therefore, you can raise money from a distance!

Here are some ideas for some fun ways to fundraise for your team!

• Spread the word that you’re participating in the event through Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks, and have your friends and followers support you!

• Is your birthday coming up? Instead of a gift, have your friends donate to your participation fee. Spend your birthday this year helping a charity in need!

• Human Auction: auction off skills you have and put the money made towards the participation fee

• It’s summer, so why not host a BBQ fundraiser? A great way to spend some quality time with friends and raise money to help others!

• Become a “sing-o-gram”; have your friends and family pay you to send a message to a special someone through singing or playing a musical instrument
